Third Party Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary:

Evaluate and maintain accurate inventories in the outside warehouse facility. This position is responsible for communication between the third-party warehouses and the facility. Assist in the flow of inventory, monitoring 3PL order accuracy and fill rates, disposal of aged inventory, reviewing weekly inventory reports involving SKU's, movement, inventory accuracy and order status per 3PL location. Perform daily reconciliation of inventory records to ensure accuracy between 3PL and Ventura records.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliation of inventory records to ensure accuracy between 3PL and Ventura records.
• Communicate inventory issues with 3rd party warehouse, CSR and Inventory Control.
• Evaluate finished goods inventory daily. Analyze inventory aging report and provide short code reports to the warehouses. Adjust warehouse inventories based upon reported overages, shortages and damages.
• Assist in the flow of inventory, monitoring 3PL order accuracy and fill rates. Ensure orders are accurate to move products between the facilities.
• Backup support for shipping clerk and distribution coordinator.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

Required communication skills:

• Written (spelling, grammar, structure, clarity)
• Oral (concise, clear, relevant, organized?

Computer skills:

• Proficient with spreadsheets, JDE.

Typical shifts are 8-12 hours per day. Additional unscheduled time after hours and on weekends may also be required. Employees must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by Company policy and/or legal requirements. In addition, certain jobs may require employees to:

• Work outside and/or in adverse temperatures which could include extreme heat, cold, and humidity;
• Be exposed to vibrations, chemicals used in operations, fumes and food allergens (may include soy, dairy and other allergens); and
• Be required to work in confined and dark spaces, and at heights in excess of 18 feet.
