We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, reporting directly to the Manager of Instrument and Control/Electrical to join our Electrical and Instrumentation team based in Houston, Texas, USA.

Produces and supports the development of all types of Electrical deliverables on a project, including one-line diagram (overall & detailed), load list, electrical power studies (load flow, short circuit, motor starting, protective relay coordination studies, etc.), electrical area classification drawings, schematics and wiring design; lighting, power, grounding, and cable tray plan drawings, and specification of electrical equipment such as Motor Control Centers and Switchgear in Petrochemical Plants.
  • Support a Team of Electrical Engineers and Electrical Designers on PDP, FEED and Detail Engineering Projects
  • Monitors and advises the Lead Engineer of major project changes
  • Reports progress and updates schedules
  • Prepares project scope deviations documentation as required
  • Researches suitable technical solutions
  • Reviews vendor documents
  • Independently evaluates the selection and/or modification of standard techniques, procedures, criteria and systems to efficiently meet project objectives
  • Applies standard engineering design tasks and exhibits a working knowledge of applicable codes
  • Reviews and generates design data and/or deliverables from various inputs
  • Performs the more sophisticated and complicated designs in accordance with established company standards
  • Coordinates details and miscellaneous design criteria with other disciplines
  • Prepares and /or reviews and checks documents and drawings as required
Qualifications:
  • 5 plus years in LNG, Energy Transition, Carbon Capture, Refining and/or Petrochemical Plant Engineering/Design
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • EIT/FE
  • PE in the state of Texas preferred
