RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment working 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour shifts available: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Rotating weekends with every other weekend requirement
• No call requirements
• ICU patient ratio of 1:2, Med/Surg ratio of 1:5
• Must float as needed according to Methodist Floating Policy
• 2+ years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Must have experience with vasopressors
• Active Texas RN License required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Meditech experience preferred
• Work with standard ICU equipment and provide critical care services
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Unit has 14 ICU beds and 20 Med/Surg beds
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
• Strict attendance policy - candidates with attendance issues will not be considered
• Work alongside 1 PCA and 1 UC on unit staffing team
