About The Job BILT is seeking a Software Engineer (iOS) to join our growing Engineering team and build out the next generation of our platform. We are looking for a talented and experienced iOS Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Strong analytical abilities and an uncompromising attention to detail with the ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations as well as strategic business situations.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality software development.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Maintain code integrity and organization.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required with 3-5 years of experience.
• Proven working experience in 3D particularly spatial computing and expert knowledge in 3D geometry and computer vision.
• 2 + years working experience in iOS development (Swift and Objective-C).
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, ARKit, RealityKit, etc.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Knowledgeable of application and system architecture, UI/UX, networking and performance optimization
• Eye for design, a strong sense of user experience and a high level of craftsmanship
• High level of experience working on consumer-facing products, writing both UI & business/backend logic
• Insight of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
• Knowledge of cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Expertise in benchmarking and optimization.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Experience with continuous integration.
