Remote Customer Service Representative - Via Benefits
WTW is hiring Remote Customer Service Representatives for a seasonal opportunity with its Via Benefits business. In this role, you'll manage customer relationships in a high-volume environment, serving as an advocate for participants while handling enrollment questions, applications, and account inquiries. Approximately 95% of your day will be spent in phone conversations, requiring strong communication skills and genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone with patience and expertise, addressing enrollment questions, application support, and account concerns
- Serve as an advocate for Via Benefits participants, ensuring their needs are understood and resolved effectively
- Process applications, manage account documentation, and maintain accurate records in a high-volume call center environment
- Provide clear explanations of benefits programs, eligibility requirements, and enrollment procedures to diverse customer populations
- Meet or exceed quality assurance standards and performance metrics while maintaining professional communication standards
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve complex issues and improve customer experience outcomes
- Current resident of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills with ability to remain calm under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; some customer service or related experience preferred
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace meeting WTW remote work eligibility requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak season, including potential overtime opportunities
- Proficiency with computer systems and telephone equipment; ability to learn new software systems quickly
- Previous customer service, call center, or benefits administration experience
- Knowledge of health insurance, employee benefits, or enrollment processes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience working in remote or virtual environments
- Competitive hourly starting wage of $16.50/hr with overtime eligibility during peak season
