Job Title: Senior Data Engineer/ Data Governance Analyst

Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite/ Hybrid)

Interview Mode: Through Microsoft Teams

Position Overview
8+ years experience, senior-level analyst who independently performs complex tasks with creativity/latitude. Understands business objectives, identifies solutions through cost/benefit analysis, analyzes user requirements/procedures to automate processing or improve systems. Confers with organizational units to document input/output requirements and writes detailed user needs/program functions. Reviews system capabilities for program change feasibility.

Contractor supports Data Engineering and Data Governance work in SHARP (State Health Analytics Reporting Platform).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements for data engineering and governance initiatives
• Establish Master Data and Reference Data management for large organizations
• Implement data quality rules and validation processes
• Document data requirements, workflows, and governance standards
• Support Informatica platform implementation and optimization

Candidate Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years experience using Informatica tools including PowerCenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360.
• 10+ years experience establishing Master Data and Reference Data for large organizations (Informatica MDM preferred).
• 10+ years experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years experience working with enterprise scale data sets in Snowflake.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar (Master's or 6+ years experience preferred).
• 2+ years experience in healthcare or Public Health.
• 2+ years experience at a state agency.
• 2+ years experience with Python scripts for automation and API interaction.
