Business Analyst
- Elicit and document business requirements for the existing Solicitation Review System, ensuring accuracy and effective communication with stakeholders and development teams
- Coordinate, schedule, and lead all requirements-gathering sessions
- Conduct gap analysis comparing current system functionality with desired future-state capabilities, including workflows and reporting through Power BI
- Collaborate with the Senior Systems Advisor to track development and implementation of requirements
- Test new and existing system functionality to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Maintain and update requirements documentation throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide weekly status reports to the Director of the Contract Compliance Unit, including progress updates and potential issues
- Knowledge of BABOK Guide principles, including requirements elicitation, analysis, and validation
- Knowledge of gap analysis methodologies (current vs. future state)
- Knowledge of computer systems and management information systems capabilities and limitations
- Knowledge of process and systems analysis and design
- Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Skill in defining requirements, functional specifications, and related deliverables
- Skill in interpreting policies and translating regulations into system requirements
- Skill in requirements elicitation techniques such as interviews, workshops, document analysis, observation, and surveys
- Skill in collaboration, consensus-building, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work under pressure, negotiate, and resolve conflicts
- Skill in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to create clear, complete, and actionable requirements documentation
- Ability to build consensus across multiple teams
- Ability to ensure accuracy in documenting system functionality and regulatory requirements
- Ability to identify compliance gaps and recommend solutions
- Ability to adapt to evolving regulations and system complexities
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across business and technical teams
- 7+ years of Business Analysis experience, including requirements elicitation, documentation, gap analysis, and testing
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel
- 5+ years of experience with Power BI
- 5+ years of experience with Power Automate
- 1+ year of experience with JotForm
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must be able to work onsite in Austin, TX (3 days/week required)
