A well-established and growing HVAC and Plumbing contractor in the Lubbock market is seeking a Service Director to lead and grow its service operations. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a proven service leader with strong HVAC operational experience and a background managing commercial and residential service teams.

Service Director Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for HVAC and Plumbing service departments
• Manage commercial and residential HVAC service operations
• Lead Service Managers, Dispatchers, and field technicians
• Drive department profitability, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and growth
• Monitor KPIs, scheduling, dispatching, technician productivity, and service performance
• Develop and improve operational processes and workflows
• Support recruiting, training, mentoring, and retention of service personnel
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and department growth
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer service standards are consistently maintained

Qualifications

• Strong HVAC service industry background required
• Experience working for a company performing similar HVAC and service-related work
• Leadership or operational management experience within HVAC service departments preferred
• Experience overseeing commercial and residential service teams
• Strong understanding of service operations, dispatching, field management, and customer relations
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Plumbing service experience is a plus, though the role is more HVAC-focused
