ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The successful candidate will have the ability to challenge the organization effectively, resolve problems, and willing to provide a hands-on approach in finding solutions. Reasonable accommodations are available to qualified individuals with disabilities in performing the essential functions. - Lead the consolidation of financial statements for the entire organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Coordinate with finance teams across different departments and regions to gather financial data for consolidation purposes.
- Analyze and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, addressing any discrepancies.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, reports, and presentations for management and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial consolidation systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Evaluate accounting policies and procedures, recommending improvements to enhance the consolidation process.
- Provide support during audits, responding to inquiries and ensuring all necessary documentation is available.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and accounting standards related to consolidation and communicate implications to the finance team.
- Other job duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS: The Global Consolidation Analyst will be an experienced, operationally oriented professional who can successfully lead as a very hands-on Analyst to scale for additional growth and maximize potential. This professional will possess: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is required. Master's or advanced degree preferred.
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Solid analytical and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and consolidation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient to advanced knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and graphs.
- Proficient knowledge of PowerPoint and preparing presentations.
- Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, and Word.
- Prior experience with ERP environments and planning in database tools (Syteline/Infor, Tableau, PowerBI) preferred.
- Experience working with databases and retrieving information from information systems.
- Demonstrated time-management and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work, communicate, and collaborate with personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems.
