Material Planner (MRP) Location Highlands, TX : The Material Requirements Planner is responsible for the
Daily management of MRP and PO placement for ZXP Logistics or other contracted 3P manufacturing sites within ZXP's supply chain network to plan and execute purchasing and sourcing activities to meet the weekly blending and production plan
Works closely with Account Management, Blending & Production Planning, and Operations to ensure fulfillment against the 0 - 3 monthly demand outlook.
Drives continuous improvement to maintain efficiency and customer responsiveness as well as increased visibility and transparency within Operations.
Uses the latest and most updated versions of the Bill of Materials and Master Schedule to ensure appropriate Material Requirements Planning input.
Lead the efforts and involvement of all parties providing guidance from the beginning of the process to the purchase and receipt of the product including issuing, tracking, rescheduling, cancelling orders/expediting deliveries for existing purchase orders.
Ensures updated supplier delivery schedule and identify, coordinate, and implement alternative action plans to appropriate groups if schedules will not be met or parts cannot be available for a scheduled blend or production run.
Communicating with suppliers/vendors and customers.
Identify key drivers and use the results to recommend changes that will drive continuous improvement
Provide consultation and participate on cross-functional teams to address business issues
Lead or participate on cross-functional teams for small or medium-sized projects/initiatives

Education / Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related major from a public or accredited private academic institution a plus
Preferred 3 - 5+ years' experience in one (1) or more of the following areas of discipline:
o Material Requirement Planning Management
o Supply Chain Management
o Distribution Material Handling
o Inventory Management
o Transportation Management
o Manufacturing or Brand Management Planning
o Forecast and Replenishment Methodologies
