Maintenance Mechanic - Industrial Equipment – $24-$26/HR. DOE

This is a contact position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.

Location: Houston, Tx 77051
Pay Rate: $24-$26 DOE
Shift: 7am to 5pm (Some Saturdays)

Job Summary
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Industrial Equipment Maintenance Mechanic for a distributor of carbon and stainless pipe, fittings, and flanges. This is a great opportunity to grow with a company that values safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Industrial Equipment Maintenance Mechanic Key Responsibilities

• Able to inspect and troubleshoot equipment, trucks and tractors (PM Service)
• Familiar with Diesel engines and backhoe equipment
• Rebuild machinery equipment; Use of pneumatic tools
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics
• Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Clean mechanic shop
• Wash equipment
• Assist in moving equipment to and from trucks

Industrial Equipment Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications

• Experience in industrial inventory management and shortage investigations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of flanges, fittings, and pipes.
• Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer operations.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to frequently sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move around the facility.
• Capability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, or pickers is preferred.

Industrial Equipment Maintenance Mechanic Requirements

• 3-5 years: Industrial Experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Work involves long periods of sanding, squatting, bending, twisting and reaching, may also include climbing
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions; heat, cold, rain
• Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel toed work boots and gloves
• Safety glasses, ear protection, steel toed boots and gloves
• Use of grinder / welding equipment requires face shield or goggles
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
