COTA - Travel Contract
We‘re hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Haskell, TX. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain skills needed for everyday life through treatment implementation, ADL training, adaptive equipment instruction, monitoring and documentation, education for patients and caregivers, and light operational tasks. Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active OTA/COTA state license. TX or compact license required.
- Minimum 2 years of OTA experience in a long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing setting. Required.
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
- Experience implementing treatment plans, ADL training, adaptive equipment instruction, and documentation in an LTC environment.
- Preferred: Experience with duties related to discharge planning, caregiver education, or duties involving DOR (documentation of record) processes.

- Schedule: 8 hour days, 40 hours guaranteed.
- Assignment type: Travel contract, 13 week duration.
- Weekend requirement: None.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float within the client network as needed.
