A well-established, profitable, and strategically expanding organization is seeking a Corporate Controller to oversee its multi-regional and international accounting operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance leader who brings strong technical expertise, proven people leadership, and the ability to strengthen and scale processes in a disciplined, high-performing environment.

As a key member of the leadership team, the Corporate Controller will oversee a sizable accounting organization of approximately 20 direct and indirect reports while driving operational excellence, improving systems and controls, and supporting long-term strategic initiatives, including ongoing merger and acquisition activity.

What You’ll Do
• Oversee corporate accounting operations across multiple U.S. regions and international entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-layered accounting team with a strong emphasis on training, coaching, and succession development.
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• Partner closely with executive leadership on strategic initiatives, including M&A integrations and international growth efforts.
• Enhance accounting policies, processes, systems, and internal controls to support a disciplined and scalable finance organization.
• Lead ERP optimization and system initiatives; SAP experience preferred, but other large ERP systems considered.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, tax, and international teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.
• Support external audit processes and ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience, ideally with multi-entity and international exposure.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing large teams (20+ direct/indirect reports).
• Strong financial and technical accounting acumen, including consolidations and financial reporting.
• Experience in mature or strategically growing organizations, with an ability to implement structure and best practices.
• Strong ERP background; SAP preferred.
• Must be able to work on-site in the Houston Galleria area.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner effectively across leadership teams.
