Looking to start your career in IT or data center operations? This is a great entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with hardware, logistics, and a supportive team. No extensive experience required—we’re happy to train the right person!
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you’ll help prepare and process hardware for resale or responsible disposal.
Day-to-day, you will:
Work with a team to prepare data center hardware for resale or recycling- Carefully remove servers from racks while following safety and verification procedures
- Organize and palletize equipment for shipping
- Ensure all reusable components are recovered and handled properly
- Move equipment to the loading dock for outbound shipment
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace
What a Typical Workflow Looks Like
Review lists of hardware scheduled for liquidation- Prepare equipment by clearing prior configurations
- Safely unrack and organize servers
- Package and secure equipment for transport
- Assist with transferring shipments to offsite storage
