The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Commercial Loan Closer/Servicer role located in the Houston, TX area. The position is responsible for performing various loan operations department functions to ensure the efficient operation of the area.

The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $85K and a benefits package. (This is not a remote position).

Commercial Loan Closer/Servicer responsibilities include:

• Preparing commercial loan documents for closing (LaserPro)
• Work with outside attorneys to draft loan documents as needed.
• Verifying accuracy of all loan documents prior to loan closing
• Preparing post-closing document review (terms and conditions)
• Processing loan payments and loan advances accurately and in a timely manner.
• Responding to internal and external customers regarding loan inquiries.
• Performing second-day review of multiple transactions to verify accuracy.
• Reconciliation of bank-controlled accounts.
• Authenticating client wire instructions.
• Initiating loan funding by deposit, check, or wire.
• Providing administration support to staff as required.
• Supporting invoice processing including entry in various forms, distribution, and scanning or photocopying.
• Responding to customer service calls and inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of loan operations experience.
• Accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with Fiserv and Doc Links is a plus.
• Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize workflow in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exercises good judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
