Paradigm is looking for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to support the development, testing, and enhancement of our client's proprietary security solutions built in -house. In this hands -on role, you’ll collaborate with engineering teams to design and build custom hardware appliances, applying your cybersecurity expertise where hardware meets software.

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will: <\/b>
<\/div>

• Partner with hardware and software teams to evaluate security risks in open source architectures and custom components
  <\/span><\/li>
• Provide actionable guidance to developers to strengthen platform security from development through production
  <\/span><\/li>
• Utilize and maintain open -source intrusion detection systems (IDS) and intrusion prevention systems (IPS) tools to safeguard systems
  <\/span><\/li>
• Monitor, analyze, and remediate vulnerabilities across our environment and product portfolio
  <\/span><\/li>
• Develop scripts using Python and Bash to support security operations and automation <\/span>

  Requirements <\/h3>

  Our skills and experience wish list includes: <\/b>
  <\/div>

  • ​Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    <\/span><\/li>
  • 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, ideally in embedded systems or application security
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Expertise with static/dynamic code analysis, fuzzing, reverse engineering, and vulnerability scanning tools
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, OWASP, and MITRE ATT&CK
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Strong analytical and problem -solving skills; ability to collaborate across teams in a fast -paced environment
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Preferred: Experience with secure boot, TPM, HSM, or board -level security implementations
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Preferred: Knowledge of protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN) and secure firmware update mechanisms
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Preferred: Hands -on experience with hardware debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers)
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP are a plus
