Mortgage Loan Processor II – Richardson, TX – WFH Flexibility

Overview:

Join our client's  team as a Mortgage Loan Processor II and play a crucial role in providing top-tier customer service to their customers during the mortgage acquisition process. As a key member of our team, you will process various types of loans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining clear communication with members and branch personnel. You will be responsible for reviewing all necessary documents and conditions of loan approval to comply with regulations and company policies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate loan closing dates, prepare documents, and manage the loan pipeline efficiently.

Required Skills:

• Good working knowledge of Texas 1st Mortgage and Home Equity lending requirements 
• Proficiency in Mortgage and Home Equity loan processing with a deep understanding of related products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and internal departments
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Outstanding time management and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with FISERV Velocity, OSI/DNA systems, and CFPB-Dodd/Frank regulations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience with HELOC conversions and Home Improvement Loan Draw Conversions
• Knowledge of C-View reporting and HELOC expiration monitoring

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mortgage and Home Equity loan processing

Other Requirements:

• Familiarity with Repayment requirements and TRID regulatory parameters
