Office hours are primarily weekdays, but responsibilities may occasionally require additional hours and flexibility, including evenings and weekends.

• Provide administrative support for numerous faculty and the Dean
• Place orders, process PO’s and check requests
• Manage book adoptions
• Manage multiple budget accounts and several credit cards
• Answer the phone and respond to dozens of emails every day
• Greet students and visitors
• Maintain supplies, distribute mail and packages
• Submit work orders for technology and facilities issues
• Plan social events and meetings
• Produce classroom and faculty schedules for posting
• Manage the Dean’s calendar which includes scheduling meetings
• Maintain petty cash
• Produce a bi-monthly newsletter
• Assist with candidate visits
• Supervise an office student worker
• Process HR documents for student workers hired to assist faculty members
• Facilitate the credentialing of adjuncts and process their HR documents
• Assist with graduation
• Other duties as required

College diploma is preferred. Office experience is highly preferred. The successful candidate must have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, strong organizational skills with close attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and an unwavering commitment to the confidentiality of student and faculty information. Friendliness, professionalism, and good written and spoken communication skills are essential.
