Material Handler Supervisor Job Duties:

• Oversee and assist with daily warehouse and material handling operations
• Supervise the loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Inspect all incoming materials for quality and accuracy
• Perform receipt of goods and record inventory transactions correctly
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to ensure ongoing safety training and compliance
• Train and mentor material handlers, setting clear performance expectations
• Assign and monitor tasks to ensure production goals are met
• Enter product non-conformances into internal tracking systems
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform and document employee probationary and performance reviews

Material Handler Supervisor Requirements:

• 3–5 years of warehouse or material handling experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of using smart devices for tracking and reporting
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent multitasking and time management abilities
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high operational standards
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Certified or qualified to operate heavy equipment such as sit-down forklifts up to 12,000 lbs
• Able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings (hair follicle)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check (no felonies or misdemeanors)

Location: Rosenberg, TX
Pay: $34-$36 Depending on experience
Shift: Monday – Friday 6 am – 2:30 pm
