Caregiver Needed: Houston, TX (77077) - Parkinson's Care & Heavy Lifting

As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and are urgently hiring for a Caregiver or CNA to assist a client in Houston, TX (77077). Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Houston, TX – 77077) Schedule: Day shift (8 AM – 8 PM) or other times as needed. Responsibilities: * Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide daily living assistance to elderly clients, including but not limited to medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care. * Provide hands-on assistance with mobility, transfers, and heavy lifting as needed. * Monitor and track client health and well-being, and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor. * Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. * Assist with errands, appointments, and transportation as needed. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on client care and activities. * Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean and healthy environment. * Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care for clients. Requirements: * High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Prior experience working with Parkinson’s patients is required. * Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical assistance with mobility is a must. * Prior experience working as a caregiver, preferably in a senior care setting. * Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required. * Ability to pass a background check and reference check. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Empathy, patience, and compassion towards elderly clients. * Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home). * Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
