Job Summary
T he Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory movement and control, both internally across work centers and externally with vendors. This role drives operational excellence through advanced data analysis, process standardization, and strict adherence to inventory procedures within SAP. The position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, traceability, and data integrity while supporting production continuity and audit readiness.
Job Description
- Oversee and monitor the flow of materials between warehouses, work centers, departments, and external vendors.
- Ensure all inventory movements are executed accurately in SAP and in compliance with established standard operating procedures.
- Identify, classify, and perform root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies, traceability issues, and data inaccuracies.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize advanced data analysis tools, including SAP queries and SQL, to monitor inventory health and identify trends.
- Analyze data to streamline inventory processes and reduce manufacturing downtime.
- Provide data-driven feedback and recommendations to management to eliminate discrepancies and prevent future errors.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain inventory data standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure accurate inventory movements and data synchronization.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
- Support internal and external audits by facilitating inventory reviews and reconciliations.
- Maintain ownership of digital inventory accuracy to ensure systems are consistently up to date.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- Hands-on experience with SAP (required).
- Experience writing and executing SQL queries and managing databases (required).
- Proven experience leading through data analysis and setting operational standards.
- Experience in a production-based or high-volume shipping environment preferred.
- High level of computer proficiency with the ability to manage multiple requests and execute complex system transactions.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with purchase orders, lot numbers, and data integrity.
- Ability to define processes and lead implementation of 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with warehouse staff, vendors, and management.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
