Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. You will lead change and release management processes while ensuring seamless coordination across Dev, QA, and operations teams.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage change and release management processes, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and timelines.

• Plan, schedule, and execute software releases across multiple environments while minimizing risk and downtime.

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.

• Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and timely delivery of releases.

• Manage environment configurations and dependencies, including container-based deployments and AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Oversee disaster recovery planning and testing, ensuring business continuity and effective risk mitigation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).

• Minimum 10+ years in change management, release management, and DevOps practices.

• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline automation using tools like Jenkins, GIT, and ServiceNow.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, ALB, EKS) and container-based deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
