Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatrics unit position requiring 2 years of experience plus prior travel nursing experience, working night shifts on a 13-week contract.

Details

• Inpatient pediatrics unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• 2 supervisory references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana; a positive result is an automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive test
