As a Real Estate Legal Assistant, you will be a pivotal part of our dynamic legal team, providing comprehensive legal support in the realm of real estate law. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses a deep understanding of real estate legalities. With your exceptional organizational skills, you will be responsible for managing and streamlining real estate transactions, ensuring all legal requirements are met and processes are followed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and review of real estate documents, including purchase agreements, lease contracts, deeds, and property management agreements.
2. Conduct comprehensive research on legal matters related to real estate transactions and property laws.
3. Coordinate and manage closings, ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and signed.
4. Maintain and organize legal files and documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
5. Liaise with clients, real estate agents, and other parties involved in transactions, providing them with timely and accurate information.
6. Support attorneys in drafting legal opinions, memoranda, and other communications.
7. Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to real estate transactions.
8. Assist in resolving any legal disputes related to property rights, boundaries, and zoning issues.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in a law firm
2. A degree or certification in Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related field.
3. Extensive knowledge of real estate law and legal procedures.
4. Exceptional research skills and the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
5. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
8. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
