Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled APM to oversee all phases of project execution, from planning through completion. The APM will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with company and contractual standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and submit a Schedule of Values for payment applications to the General Contractor in coordination with the estimating team.
- Review construction schedules and create timelines for submittals, material orders, labor estimates, and project milestones.
- Prepare submittals for doors, frames, and hardware based on architectural plans and specifications.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, potential changes, and change order communications.
- Order materials and coordinate timely material deliveries with the field supervisor in line with the construction schedule or contractor agreements.
- Collaborate with the project coordinator and submit monthly pay applications with supporting documentation for stored and installed materials.
- Actively pursue and follow up on contractual Change Orders and ensure accurate billing.
- Approve vendor invoices and verify charges against purchase orders.
Qualifications:
- Experience with D8 software (Comsense/Avaware).
- Knowledge of order writing and relevant materials.
- Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to build effective relationships with coworkers, management, and clients.
