- UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
As an Administrative Assistant within our Administration team, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day effectiveness of healthcare system leadership. This is a great opportunity for an organized, professional, and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their career within healthcare administration.
- Provide administrative support to members of the healthcare system’s leadership team, helping manage priorities and maintain an efficient executive office.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other materials by gathering and organizing information to support leadership decision-making.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external customers while serving as a trusted representative of the Administration team.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
- Maintain organized and accurate files, records, reports, and correspondence to support efficient day-to-day operations.
- Utilize technology and office systems to manage information, documentation, and communications.
- Assist with maintaining required documentation and supporting compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Work independently, prioritize competing needs, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Requirements:
- Three (3) or more years of secretarial or administrative experience with progressive responsibility
