and more! Job Details Job Details: We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position where the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of manufacturing equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and building maintenance. Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Technician, your day-to-day tasks will include: 1. Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure smooth operations.
2. Inspecting machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
3. Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems.
4. Carrying out repairs on machinery and equipment to avoid downtime.
5. Installing, aligning, dismantling, and moving stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
6. Operating welding tools to fix heavy machinery and equipment.
7. Conducting regular inspections of premises and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
8. Keeping a record of all maintenance and repair work done, including the cause of the problem and the solution implemented.
9. Assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement strategies to improve the performance and lifespan of machinery and equipment.
10. Collaborating with other team members to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must: 1. Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Hold a relevant trade qualification or certification.
3. Possess strong knowledge and skills in electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and building maintenance.
4. Have a solid understanding of electrical systems and mechanical systems.
5. Be proficient in welding and other industrial repair methods.
6. Be able to read and understand complex electrical and mechanical diagrams.
7. Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively.
8. Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work well in a team.
9. Be physically fit and able to lift heavy machinery and equipment.
