Job Summary

Experience a plus. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pawn Broker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our pawn shop, including buying, selling, and trading goods. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and have a strong understanding of the retail sales process. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a wide range of products and interact with customers from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

- Manage the buying, selling, and trading of goods within the pawn shop.- Conduct product demos and provide detailed descriptions of items for sale.- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with customers and negotiate transactions.- Handle cash and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and managing inventory.- Stay up-to-date on the latest products and trends in various industries, including technology sales and appliance sales.- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.- Demonstrate a strong understanding of retail sales principles and apply them to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction.- Collaborate with other team members to achieve store goals and objectives.- Perform other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a pawn shop or similar environment.- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers.- Ability to handle cash and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.- Familiarity with the retail sales process and a strong understanding of product demos and descriptions.- Experience in buying, selling, and trading goods is an asset.- Bilingual skills are an advantage, as is experience in technology sales or appliance sales.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
