Storeroom Receiving Clerk (Seasonal/Part-Time)
Summary
Part-time position that is seasonal (Until September 26th)
Schedule Requirements: Must be available to work a flexible schedule during the week, including weekends and holidays.
Role
The Purchasing / Receiving Clerk is responsible for all purchases, verifies, stores, and stocks all food and beverage products in accordance with company specifications, standards of quality, service, and policies. Assists Executive Chef and Controller in areas of food and beverage inventory quality and cost control, as well as related aspects of food service.
Position Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certification and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift objects in the weight range of 10 - 50 lbs. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Ability to withstand temperature variations, both hot and cold.

- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written.
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be efficient and courteous.
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests.
- Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc. from disparate sources and consider adjust or modify to meet the constraints of a particular need.
- Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet due dates and deadlines.
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic function.
