What You Can Expect

As the Accounting Manager for ENGIE North America's Renewables and Flexible Generation entities, you will oversee complex organizational structures and ensure compliance with technical accounting standards. Your role includes managing monthly close processes, supervising accounting staff, and delivering accurate financial data for internal and external reporting. You will collaborate across departments to support project accounting throughout development, construction, and operational phases. Your leadership will be key in maintaining control procedures and driving continuous improvement. You'll also play a critical role in preparing audit materials and managing ad-hoc projects involving advanced accounting concepts. Your ability to guide and develop your team will be essential to the success of this function.

  • Oversee monthly close and general ledger activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage financial and KPI reporting packages, including control checks and submissions.
  • Compile financial statements and disclosures for both on- and off-balance sheet items.
  • Lead project accounting efforts in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Supervise, train, and develop accounting staff in alignment with company policies and goals.

What You'll Bring
  • You will have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum seven (7) years relevant accounting experience

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy;

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 - $151,800 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
