Warehouse Coordinator
12-Month Contract (Austin, TX)This role is ideal for someone who excels at keeping operations running smoothly and has hands-on experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments. You will serve as a key coordination point, ensuring materials and information move accurately and efficiently throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shipping and receiving activities for materials, products, and supplies
- Communicate regularly with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure workflow alignment
- Plan and schedule pickups and deliveries with a focus on cost-effectiveness and timely execution
- Monitor shipment status, troubleshoot delays, and implement proactive resolutions
- Maintain accurate inventory data and update internal tracking systems
- Prepare shipping documentation, including customs paperwork when required
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to support logistics planning and operational needs
Requirements
- 4-6 years of experience in warehousing or supply chain coordination
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
- Proficiency with logistics platforms and Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels, including executives and customers.
- Skilled in conflict resolution with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Experienced in working with unions and resolving disputes.
- Excellent planning and resource allocation abilities.
