Catering Sales
Russo’s New York Pizzeria is seeking a motivated, outgoing Catering Sales Representative to grow our catering business through local outreach, relationship building, and direct sales.
This is an outside sales role focused on generating new catering clients from offices, medical centers, schools, hotels, and local businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new catering business through daily in-person visits
- Build relationships with corporate offices, event planners, and local organizations
- Distribute menus, samples, and promotional offers
- Follow up on leads and convert inquiries into orders
- Manage and grow repeat catering accounts
- Coordinate large orders with restaurant operations
- Track daily activity, leads, and sales performance
- Represent the Russo’s brand in the local community
Daily Expectations
- 15–25 in-person business visits per day
- 5–10 new contacts/leads added daily
- Consistent follow-up with prospects and existing clients
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years in sales, catering, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality
- Comfortable with cold outreach and face-to-face selling
- Organized and able to manage multiple accounts
- Reliable transportation required
Compensation
- $15–$22/hour (based on experience)
- + 5%–10% commission on catering sales
- Monthly performance bonuses available
