Technical Program Manager, Remanufacturing
The GFTX Remanufacturing team is seeking a Technical Program Manager to plan, lead, and execute multidisciplinary programs under aggressive timing and cost constraints. This role focuses on managing projects spanning tooling development, equipment deployment, and large-scale manufacturing asset integration. The successful candidate will serve as a cross-functional leader, ensuring alignment between engineering, operations, validation, and external suppliers to achieve ambitious cost, schedule, and quality goals. The role requires a meticulous, detail-oriented individual who thrives in ambiguous environments, drives results independently, and excels in high-pressure, fast-paced settings. What You'll Do Communicate and align on timelines, deliverables, and project goals across all program types, ensuring clarity for stakeholders and teamsDevelop schedules and track dependencies to manage complex programs, including critical paths, milestones, and risk mitigation strategiesCoordinate logistics and meetings (e.g., calls, on-site visits, supplier interactions) and plan contingency efforts for high-risk designsFacilitate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, operations, validation, and suppliers to meet cost, schedule, and quality targetsTrack progress, risks, and decisions using tools like JIRA/Confluence, and report weekly updates to leadership with transparency and accountabilityManage NPI activities from design to mass production, ensuring alignment with program schedules and key decision pointsOversee resource planning, budget tracking, and gap resolution to ensure timely project completion within scope and financial constraintsDrive process improvements and adapt procedures to enhance team efficiency, while maintaining compliance with organizational standardsProactively resolve conflicts, risks, and ambiguities through analytical problem-solving and initiative, escalating when necessaryAct as the central point of contact for program decisions, balancing delegation, escalation, and independent resolution to keep projects on track What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, or related engineering disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical) or equivalent experienceProven track record of managing multiple projects from concept to completion in a manufacturing environment, with 3+ years of project management experienceStrong familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera) and methodologies for tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverablesA self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, driven by engineering excellence and resultsExceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and external stakeholder teamsWillingness to travel (10% of the time) to meet with suppliers, conduct site visits, and support program executionDemonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, and deliver projects under tight deadlinesPassion for driving innovation, optimizing processes, and ensuring high-quality outcomes in complex manufacturing environments Benefits
