The Test Engineer III creates and develops application specific software, hardware, and documentation as required to ensure the quality and integrity of product. This role ensures all elements of the applicable product specifications/requirements are tested and verified. The Test Engineer III works with limited supervision and mentors lower-level engineers and technicians.
This is an Onsite position- Location: Plainview Long Island.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop test plans, hardware, software, and documentation
- Design specialized test equipment and develop operating procedures
- Interprete test results, identify and resolve product failures
- Work cross-functionally to resolve product issues
- Lead Test Plan reviews internally and externally
- identify improvements in yield, coverage, execution, and reliability of test solutions
- Provide technical leadership to other test engineers
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in Test Automation. OR (9) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree. OR (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree.
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Sciences
- Highly proficient with LabVIEW.
- Experience with Vibration equipment or some basic knowledge,(Experience preferable).

- Preferred: experience in vibration testing
- Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
- Pay Range: $93,569 - $116,961 annually . Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
