Your New Role

As a Residential HVAC Installer with ABA Appliance in Austin, TX, you’ll be responsible for:

• Installing residential split systems, ductwork, mini splits, and refrigerant lines

• Replacing HVAC systems including heat pumps, gas furnaces, package units, and more

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical diagrams, and wiring schematics

• Charging, evacuating, and properly servicing HVAC systems

• Operating hand and power tools with precision and safety

• Keeping your work truck, job sites, and equipment clean and professional

• Coordinating with your team to deliver high-quality installs and avoid callbacks

• 3-5 years of proven HVAC installation experience in residential environments

• EPA Type II Certification

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no restrictions)

• Proficient with 120v, 240v, and 24v systems

• Solid understanding of refrigeration principles and proper charging/evacuation

• Skilled in ductwork, line set installation, and major component replacement (compressors, evaporators, TXVs)

• Able to pass a background check and drug screening

• Must pass an in-house written assessment and soldering test

• High school diploma or equivalent required
