Transportation Representative

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:45am - 8:45pm with 1 hour lunch.

Ideal candidate will have the following:

Class A, B or C valid Texas driver's license

Good driving record as verified with the Texas Department of Transportation.

Great Customer Service Skills.

Great Communication Skills.

Able to work independently.

Good driving record.

Provides transportation to patients and employees throughout the institution utilizing sky bridge infrastructures.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Customer Service:

* Transport passengers safely through the skybridge. Be able to provide assistance and directions to patients & guests when needed. Respectful and courteous to customers and co-workers alike. Provide wheelchairs and assistance with them to guests.

Teamwork:

* Responsive to concerns of guests and co-workers. Address safety concerns as needed. Follow all established institutional policies and procedures. Maintain a safe work environment.

Communication:

* Greet and engage all guests being transported as well as those waiting to be transported. Must be alert at all times, providing warnings to pedestrians about on coming carts.

EDUCATION:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Two years of relevant work experience and ability to drive golf carts, three-ton van or other vehicles as required. Class A, B or C valid Texas driver's license depending on the type and weight of vehicle to be operated and number of passengers to be carried. Good driving record as verified with the Texas Department of Transportation.

OTHER:
Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.

This position may be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, as defined in Section 113.001(2) of the Texas Business and Commerce Code and therefore may require routine reviews and screening. The ability to satisfy and maintain all requirements necessary to ensure the continued security and integrity of such infrastructure is a condition of hire and continued employment.
