Plant Engineer
APC maintenance technician manages and optimizes the facility's mechanical, electrical, and structural systems, focusing on efficient, safe, and compliant operations through maintenance, troubleshooting, project management, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring machinery uptime and adherence to standards.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Operations: Develop and implement maintenance strategies, oversee repairs, conduct inspections, and manage preventive maintenance programs for plant equipment.
- Process Improvement: Analyze operational data, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Project Management: Design, install, test, and commission new equipment, systems, and facility upgrades, managing budgets and timelines.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance, troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Team Collaboration: Work with production, maintenance, quality, and management teams, and potentially train staff or coordinate with external contractors.
Skills:
- Proven experience in the maintenance field.
- Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and other systems.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
