**Job Summary and Qualifications**
This position requires competence in assessment, treatment, and/or care for the age groups indicated. The skills and knowledge needed to provide such care may be gained through education, training, or experience.
+ **Assists in the maintenance of all equipment in the department, including cleaning and minor repairs.**
+ **Facilitates departmental operations through completion of all patient logs, charge requisitions, and other paper work, either through the computer system or via a manual system.**
+ **Maintains safety precautions to minimize radiation exposure to patients, other personnel, and self.**
+ **Participates in quality control and performance improvement activities within the department.**
+ **Participates in rotating call system to provide continuous availability of services.**
+ **Performs other related duties as assigned. Posses knowledge of the PACS system, appreciates the overall image distribution concept for PACS.**
+ **Performs exam monitoring and patient information management.**
+ **Prepares patients appropriately for roentgenographic examination and fluoroscopy procedures as prescribed by patients' physician, in the department and in surgery or the Pain Management area.**
+ **Sets both mobile and stationary equipment for use.**
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
+ (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
+ (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
+ Associate Degree
