• ManagepayrolloperationsthroughGustoorsimilarsystems
• Shareweeklyprogressupdatesandanyactionableitemswithleadership

MonthlyTasks

• Reconcilebankandcreditcardaccounts
• Completemonth- endadjustmentsandensurebooksareaccurateanddecision -ready
• DeliveraprofessionalMonthlyFinancialReportPackageincluding:
• Profit&Loss
• BalanceSheet
• CashFlow
• Budgetvs.Actual(ifapplicable)
• Providehigh- levelinsightsandhighlightfinancialtrends
• Maintainaccuracyandalignmentbetweenfinancialsandgovernmentcontractobligations,includingcontracttrackingandcostcategorization

Annual+As-NeededTasks

• Prepareandfile1099sinJanuary
• Conductyear- endfinancialreviewtosupporttaxpreparation
• Assistwithgovernmentcontractdocumentationandauditprepasneeded
• Managetheintegrityoftheaccountingtechstack,includingQuickBooksOnline,Gusto,Harvest,andothers
• Stayinformedoncompliancerequirementsrelevanttopayroll,contracting,andfinancialreporting

Yourelikelyagreatfitifyou:

• Have5+yearsofaccountingexperience,ideallyinasmallbusinessorgovernmentcontractingenvironment
• ArefluentinQuickBooksOnline,withasolidcommandofpayrollsystemslikeGusto
• Understandthestructureandcomplianceneedsofgovernmentcontracts,includingcosttrackinganddocumentation
• Communicateclearlyandprofessionallywithbothfinancialandnon -financialteammates
• Arehighlyorganized,proactive,andabletoworkindependentlywithminimaloversight
• Haveapositive,professionaldemeanorandthriveincollaborativeenvironments
