ER RN Job Details – Webster, TX

• Location: Webster, TX 77598 (Greater Houston area)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (45 beds)
• Position Type: Travel Nursing
• Start Date: August 25, 2025
• End Date: November 24, 2025
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Friday & Saturday nights as scheduled
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1460-$1500

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: TNCC, ENPC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
• Strong clinical skills and ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced ER setting
• Team-oriented, professional, and respectful demeanor
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy 45-bed emergency department
• Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1, ensuring safe and effective clinical support
• Perform and assist with emergency procedures: reduction/splint, chest tube placement, Port-a-Cath access, blood product administration, intubation
• Operate clinical equipment including GE Monitors, EKGs, Life Pak Monitors, and Pyxis Medication Dispensing System
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: charge nurses, navigators, paramedics, nurse techs, and unit secretaries
• Demonstrate proficiency in ultrasound-guided IV placement (preferred)
• Adhere to hospital policies, unit guidelines, and dress code standards
