Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented customer service representative . The customer service representative will be responsible for assisting in policy retention by remarketing current policies to ensure customers have the best coverage/cost options available. Additonally, this role will involve servicing and supporting current policies.

Policy Retention & Remarketing:

• Actively engage with current clients to discuss their coverage needs and identify opportunities for policy renewal or upgrades.


• Utilize available tools and resources to remarket policies and ensure clients remain with the agency


• Communicate policy changes, updates, or renewal options effectively to customers.

  • Provide exceptional service by responding promptly to customer inquiries, whether via phone, email, or in-person.
  
  
  • Assist clients with their existing insurance policies, including making changes, updates, and answering questions related to their coverage.
  
  
  • Process policy endorsements, cancellations, and other requests as needed.
  
  
  • Ensure that all client information is accurately maintained and up-to-date in the agency’s system as well as document all interactions with clients.
  
  
  • Be the liaison between customers and insurance companies at times.
    
    
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or within the insurance industry preferred but not required.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.


• A customer-first mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service..


• Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with customers and solve complex problems without direct supervision.


• Have excellent time management skills


• Must have valid Texas Property and Casualty Insurance License within 90 days of employment.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
