Bonds Assistant
Comp: 60-70k base
Direct Hire What You’ll Do
- Prepare and assemble bond transcripts and supporting legal documents with a high degree of accuracy
- Review and proofread materials for consistency, completeness, and formatting standards
- Coordinate the distribution of finalized documents and draft transmittal correspondence
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress and ensuring deadlines are met
- Partner with internal teams and external consultants to gather information and resolve outstanding items
- Support contract review processes, including monitoring requests and tracking updates
- Assist with board meeting logistics, including scheduling and preparation of materials
- Maintain organized records across document management systems and update client information as neede
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and file-sharing tools
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Experience working with legal, financial, or transactional documents preferred
- Highly organized with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- No prior law firm experience required
