Receiving Stocker 1st Shift - $16 to $18 Per Hour

This is a contact position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.

Location: Houston, Tx 77051
Pay Rate: $16-$18 DOE
Shift: 6am to 2:30pm

Job Summary
Integrity Trade Services is hiring a 1st Shift Receiving Stocker for a distributor of carbon and stainless pipe, fittings, and flanges. The 1st Shift Receiving Stocker will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the pipe yard. 1st Shift Receiving Stocker Key Responsibilities

• Assist warehouse unloading trucks and checking in and validating merchandise prior to stocking
• Sort and place material or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times
• Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager
• Perform systematically any inventory stocking moves to ensure system accuracy

1st Shift Receiving Stocker Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience working in a pipe yard and operating a forklift.
• Experience in operating warehouse machinery (sit-down lift, cherry picker, reach truck, etc)
• Experience handling both carbon and stainless steel pipe is a plus.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strict adherence to all safety regulations.
• Qualified applicants must successfully pass a background check and drug test.

1st Shift Receiving Stocker Requirements

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to strictly observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
