Product Operations Specialist
SCOPE
Product Operations Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating all data related to the NBO process and/or the POS/EDI processes.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Update and maintain all supplier and manufacturing rep contact data as well as all suppliers to manufacturing rep zip code assignments
Maintain all documents, spreadsheets, programs and databases associated with the NBO or POS/EDI processes
Responsible for Quality Analysis process for all projects associated with NBO and Manufacturer Rep programs
Review accuracy of EDI and POS data as requested by internal and external customers
Work with external suppliers and internal support teams to setup and maintain EDI communication between Mouser and external suppliers
Responsible for reviewing and discussing the priority of EDI projects with the Product Process Manager
The use of macros and excel VBA programming will be key to the Specialist position to increase productivity and data management
A general understanding of Access and a familiarity with reporting and database management through Access will be key to increase productivity and data management
Responsible for all communication, data updates and reporting to the NBO Regional managers
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
Responsible for assisting and supporting specific projects as required
Additional responsibilities may be assigned that are not included
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Exhibits strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines.
- Analyzes impact of decisions before execution.
- Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft excel and office - advanced level.
- Ability to create Macros in Excel.
- Ability to create VBA scripts in Excel.
- Familiarity with database management through Access
- Detailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking ability.
- Able to work in data entry for long periods of time.
- Skill Evaluation: Math 80%, Spelling 80%, Typing 40 wpm, Advanced Excel 80%.
