Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Software Engineer (Cyber) Intern. In this role, you will help develop and maintain web-based software tools for tracking and analysis of defects on air vehicles. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of modern development tools and languages such as Typescript, React, and PostgreSQL. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related technical major

- Familiar with modern programming tools

- Familiar with full stack development concepts and tools

- Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Docker for development environments

- Familiarity with GraphQL (queries, mutations, schema design)

- Familiarity with Kubernetes or OpenShift

- Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as visx, D3.js , or equivalents

- Familiarity with code quality tools and linters

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
