Be the Backbone of Our Production: Production Support Technician

Every on-time shipment and smooth-running line depends on precise materials flow. In this role, you’ll safeguard pipe threads, keep inventory impeccably labeled, move goods with a forklift, and ensure critical spares and PPE are always ready. Your impact will be seen across the plant, from staging materials to shipping couplings and protectors to customers.

Your mission

• Protect product integrity by applying compound and protective plastic caps to threaded pipe for storage and transport.
• Measure pipe on the shop floor and label accurately with identifying information to maintain inventory and tracking accuracy.
• Operate forklifts and other small mobile equipment safely to position and move materials.
• Contribute to general labor needs: stack wood for pipe rack storage, keep areas clean and organized, and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
• Champion safety practices and promptly report hazards or incidents to your supervisor.
• Oversee inbound and outbound flow: receive and deliver parts and materials, organize/manage critical spare parts in the warehouse, maintain PPE/noncritical materials above safety stock, ship couplings and protectors to customers, and stage material for manufacturing lines.

What you’ll need

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work an industrial schedule, including overtime (rotating every 3 months or fixed 8–12 hour shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), and stay later into the next shift if relief calls off.
• Dedication to safety and procedural compliance.
• Comfort working with hot, heavy, or sharp materials and around hazardous chemicals.
• Physical ability for manual labor and lifting over 25 lbs.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in manufacturing, industrial, or construction settings.
• Experience operating forklifts or similar small mobile equipment.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Environment

• Industrial atmosphere with varying temperatures, noise, and potential exposure to hazardous materials.
• PPE supplied by the company and required at all times.
