Manager, Manufacturing Engineering - Continuous Improvement
- Leads and directs team by providing direction on all facets of ME/e3.
- Responsibilities include work prioritization, team briefings, personnel development, performance evaluation, and succession planning.
- Partners with other organizations to create and execute improved manufacturing plans which drive measurable improvements
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, “Right the First Time”, Safety First, audit ready, and Policy & Security compliance
- Ability to delegate tasks, manage resources effectively, and drive team performance to achieve organizational objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with both team members and senior management.
- Proven experience in operations processes such as production planning, material movement, process optimization, and quality control.
- Familiarity with systems and techniques such as lean manufacturing, six sigma, or automated production systems.
- Experience in managing or supporting prototypes and low-volume production environments, including optimizing workflows, ensuring consistent product quality, and maintaining efficient throughput.
- Familiarity with automated systems, supply chain management, and scalability techniques to meet production demands while minimizing downtime and costs.
- Strong understanding of development strategies.
- Experience with logistics/production process flows/factory floor layout
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
- Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics, and employees within a team.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Experience leading and managing a team of professionals.
- Experience with SAP and Solumina.
- Experience in operations metrics dashboard visualization development and refinement.
