In-Market Sales Representative — Full Cycle Sales (Insurance)

Full-Time | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Bonuses

Position Overview

Hinojosa agency are actively seeking a driven and customer-focused In-Market Sales Representative — Full Cycle Sales to join our expanding insurance team. This role is designed for high-performing sales professionals who excel at prospecting, relationship-building, consultative selling, and closing deals from start to finish.

As an In-Market Sales Representative, you will manage the complete sales process — from generating leads and meeting with prospects to presenting insurance solutions, closing sales, and maintaining long-term client relationships. This position offers strong income potential, professional growth opportunities, and the ability to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals and families secure financial protection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, community outreach, and outbound sales efforts

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through policy activation and follow-up

  • Conduct in-person and virtual client consultations to assess insurance needs

  • Present customized insurance solutions tailored to client goals and budgets

  • Educate customers on policy options, coverage details, benefits, and pricing

  • Build strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service

  • Handle objections effectively and confidently close sales opportunities

  • Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline activity using CRM systems

  • Follow up with prospective and existing clients regarding renewals, policy updates, and cross-selling opportunities

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance expectations

  • Stay current on insurance products, compliance standards, and industry trends

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or business development

  • Proven ability to manage and close full-cycle sales opportunities

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities

  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset

  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively

  • Comfortable using CRM software and digital sales tools

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred

  • Previous insurance, financial services, or outside sales experience

  • Active insurance license or willingness to obtain licensing

  • Experience with life, health, supplemental, auto, or property & casualty insurance

  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
