Position Overview
Hinojosa agency are actively seeking a driven and customer-focused In-Market Sales Representative — Full Cycle Sales to join our expanding insurance team. This role is designed for high-performing sales professionals who excel at prospecting, relationship-building, consultative selling, and closing deals from start to finish.
As an In-Market Sales Representative, you will manage the complete sales process — from generating leads and meeting with prospects to presenting insurance solutions, closing sales, and maintaining long-term client relationships. This position offers strong income potential, professional growth opportunities, and the ability to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals and families secure financial protection.

Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, community outreach, and outbound sales efforts
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through policy activation and follow-up
Conduct in-person and virtual client consultations to assess insurance needs
Present customized insurance solutions tailored to client goals and budgets
Educate customers on policy options, coverage details, benefits, and pricing
Build strong client relationships through exceptional communication and service
Handle objections effectively and confidently close sales opportunities
Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline activity using CRM systems
Follow up with prospective and existing clients regarding renewals, policy updates, and cross-selling opportunities
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance expectations
Stay current on insurance products, compliance standards, and industry trends
Qualifications
Required
1–3 years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or business development
Proven ability to manage and close full-cycle sales opportunities
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities
Self-starter with a results-driven mindset
Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
Comfortable using CRM software and digital sales tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred
Previous insurance, financial services, or outside sales experience
Active insurance license or willingness to obtain licensing
Experience with life, health, supplemental, auto, or property & casualty insurance
