JasperReports / Oracle PL/SQL Developer

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with JasperReports, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, unit testing, and Agile development methodologies .
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and maintain JasperReports and reporting applications.
- Design, code, and support database solutions using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL .
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and related database objects.
- Perform comprehensive unit testing and troubleshoot application/reporting issues.
- Analyze requirements and translate them into technical and reporting solutions.
- Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, and project stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot defects and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Support application deployments and production issues as needed.
- Track development tasks and defects using JIRA .
- Use Bitbucket for source-code management and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with JasperReports development.
- 8+ years of experience with unit testing.
- 8+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
- 5+ years of experience designing, coding, and supporting applications using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JIRA .
- Experience with Bitbucket .
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting applications.
- Strong understanding of database development and reporting processes.
