Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000

**Note: This is an application architect role, not an enterprise architect position. The Principal Architect will guide technical teams but is not a people manager. Compliance with federal regulations is paramount. Â

Lead the design and development of a high-transaction, regulatory-compliant system, prioritizing 100% compliance with federal regulations to protect the company’s interests. Â

Key Responsibilities:

• Design a scalable, secure microservices architecture using NodeJS, React, and PostgreSQL. Â
• Ensure compliance with strict financial regulations, integrating security measures, API gateways, and IAM solutions. Â
• Guide engineering teams as a technical manager, fostering innovation and adherence to architectural standards. Â
• Develop integration strategies for third-party services, payment gateways, and compliance systems. Â
• Monitor system performance, optimize for accuracy and reliability, and maintain thorough documentation. Â
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align architectural vision with project goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Â
• 5+ years in software architecture, with 3+ years as a principal architect focused on Microservices Architecture and design patterns, including service discovery and load balancing
• Expertise in NodeJS, React, and PostgreSQL, with strong experience in high-transaction systems. Â
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevSecOps practices. Â
• Deep understanding of API gateways, IAM (e.g., OAuth 2.0), and security standards (e.g., OWASP). Â
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to lead technical discussions and influence decisions.Â
